1. Thinking about the controversy over Wikileaks and the recent release of all of those secret memos, is it really about freedom, or is it, in fact, all about our hunger for news all the time about everything and anything no matter how trivial or absurd?
2. Is this just a natural progression from our obsession with gossip?
3. And why do they only seem to target information that comes from a democracy? Why doesn’t the site target totalitarian states and leak some of their secret memos? Wouldn’t the world benefit more from shedding light on their secrets, rather than ours?
